Welcome to Wonder Moss
Helping people reconnect with the wonder of nature.
My Story
When people ask where I studied art, I smile and tell them...
"In the woods."
Nature has been my greatest teacher for as long as I can remember.
Growing up homeschooled in rural Western New York, I spent my free time exploring the woods surrounding our home. Nature taught me to slow down, observe, and notice the beauty in the smallest details. Long before I understood the principles of design, I was learning balance, texture, color, rhythm, and composition simply by paying attention to the forest around me.

Creativity has always been part of who I am. Spending time on home remodeling jobs with my dad sparked my interest in how spaces come together and eventually led me to interior design. Along the way, I taught myself woodworking and rustic furniture making, discovering that I loved not only designing beautiful things but building them with my own hands.

Looking back, my evolution as an artist wasn't about changing mediums. It was about layering knowledge: observing nature, building with my hands, designing with intention, creating through art, and ultimately helping others reconnect with nature.

That path eventually led me to landscape photography as well as a career in marketing, where I spent years helping businesses tell their stories and build cultures people wanted to be part of. But deep down, I knew I needed to create something that reflected my own story, drawing from a lifetime of inspiration, peace, and wonder found in nature.

When I was unexpectedly laid off in 2024, what first felt like a setback became the opportunity that changed my life. I combined everything I had learned through design, craftsmanship, marketing, and my lifelong connection to nature to create Wonder Moss.

Now, I create custom preserved moss art and biophilic installations for homes, businesses, hotels, and public spaces. Every project begins with a conversation because I want to understand more than dimensions and design preferences. I want to understand the people, the story, and how they hope to feel when the piece is complete.

I believe the most meaningful art changes how people feel. Every piece I create is thoughtfully designed to inspire calm, spark wonder, and serve as a gentle reminder to slow down and reconnect with the beauty that's always been there.
Thank you for being here. It truly means a lot that you've taken the time to learn my story. I hope our paths cross someday, and if they do, I'd be honored to create something that becomes part of your story.
